I am reviewing...Dragonheart. Also known as the greatest movie of all time!!!
The only bad part--the ONLY bad part--is when Bowen says 'That's one lesson you've never learned: Only expose your back to a corpse' and Einon responds with, 'YOU ARE A CORPSE, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW IT!'
Other then that, this movie is phenomenal. I love the storyline. It has an amazing cast: Sean Connery as the voice of Draco, Dennis Quaid as Bowen, Pete Postlethwaite as Brother Gilbert, and Dina Meyer as Kara. Good supporting cast too! But anyway.
Set in the 10th Century, a man (Bowen) teams up with the last dragon to remind the people of a long lost code of honor, and inspire them to fight for their freedom from a tyrannical king.
The young, sickly King Einon was wounded in a battle. In order for him to survive, he is healed by Draco, a dragon. Some years later, Bowen, a dragon slayer, encounters Draco. The two team up to form a traveling duo that perform an act, but the act is only known by themselves. Bowen supposedly "slays" Draco and then collects a reward from the town or village that he protects by killing the dragon who had been "terrorizing" them. From there, Bowen and Draco must save the entire kingdom from the rule of the now evil King Einon, who is part of Draco and Draco a part of him.Alot of people don't like it because it's a Laurentiis Production, but you know what I say! I say balderdash and piffle! Never judge a movie by it's cover. It's got a good story, and awesome graphics for Draco, especially for 1996. :D

On an unrelated note, I've made a story about Dragonheart, called Dragonheart: The Reality?! Starring me and Distressed Fish. Read it here.
